At 12 years old, I watched police come into our home and take everything. My family packed what we could into two cars and drove from Providence to Texas, moving into a one-bedroom apartment.
That moment shaped how I saw money, security, and life. Deep down, I made a decision: I would never live like that again. What I didn’t realize was that decision created a survival mindset.
As I got older, survival mode showed up in destructive ways at first, then later in ways people praised: nonstop grinding, chasing success, neglecting family, and tying my worth to what I could produce.
"On the outside, it looked like ambition. But underneath, it was survival."
Eventually I realized: I wasn’t building from alignment — I was building from fear, pressure, and the need to stay in control. And I wasn’t the only one.
So many Kingdom builders are producing results without peace, mastering execution without true alignment, and succeeding outwardly while feeling empty inwardly.
